Summary
Provide hands-on personal care and health monitoring for patients in a transitional care facility, working closely with medical staff on daily shifts.
We are hiring Locum Healthcare Assistants to be outsourced to islandwide Transitional Care Facility
Salary: $18/hour
- Personal Care: Assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
- Monitoring Health: Observing and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Supportive Tasks: Helping with mobility, transferring patients from bed to wheelchair, and providing comfort.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records for care plans, daily observations, and activities.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the cleanliness of residents’ rooms, beds, and surroundings.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
Job Requirements
- Prior HCA or nursing experience preferred
- Able to commit min 3-4 days per week
- Able to work AM or PM Shifts
- Valid BCLS
