Locum Optician and Optometrist Up to $28/h

Minimum 6 months commitment

• To provide and educate patients with professional advice.
• Performing eye examinations using specialised equipment to check their ocular health and diagnose symptoms.
• Provide professional advice and solutions to patients.
• Dispense and manage the inventory of the lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Support daily clinic operations and maintain professional service standards.
• Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
• Other ad hoc duties

Optician – Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Opticianry or relevant qualification.
• Relevant experience in optical retail or eyewear dispensing preferred.
• Knowledge of optical products, lenses and frames.
• Able to perform basic vision measurements and assist with eyewear selection.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Optometrist – Requirements

• Degree in Optometry or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Must be registered with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB), Singapore.
• Valid practising certificate.
• Experienced in conducting eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Knowledge of eye conditions, refraction and contact lens fitting.
