Locum opportunity for an Optometrist to provide professional eye care advice, perform eye examinations, and support daily clinic operations.

Employment type: Locum, 6 months
Fee: $25–$28/hr
Working hours (must commit to all / majority):

• Monday: 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
• Tuesday: 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
• Wednesday: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
• Thursday: 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm
• Friday: 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
• Saturday: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm

What you'll be doing

• Provide and educate patients with professional advice
• Perform eye examinations using specialised equipment to check ocular health and diagnose symptoms
• Provide professional advice and solutions to patients
• Dispense and manage the inventory of lenses
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Support daily clinic operations and maintain professional service standards
• Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
• Other ad hoc duties
