- Coordinate the delivery, collection, and movement of goods and materials.
- Manage warehouse, inventory, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Plan delivery schedules and ensure goods are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, drivers, warehouse staff, and project/site teams.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel and assign daily duties.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control.
- Arrange transportation, vehicles, and third-party logistics services when required.
- Monitor transportation and delivery costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, and other logistics documents are properly maintained.
- Resolve delivery delays, damaged goods, shortages, and other logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, workplace safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, road tax, insurance, and other fleet-related requirements where applicable.
- Prepare logistics reports and provide regular operational updates to management.
- Improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
