Logistic Buyer

SCOPE AND PURPOSE

To ensure proper realization of our vision he/she will:

• Support design and deployment of logistic sourcing strategy together with commodity manager in the area of road/ocean transportation for Europe,

• Support tender processes for long term business awarding and support day to day expedite requirements from Poland and Czech plants,

• Scout both local and international market in order to deploy new supply base

• Interact with internal clients in order to understand and satisfy business needs

• Manage and update data management systems/price list

• Coordinate contract milestones, technical specs, documentation, deliverables

• Evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.

• Ensure adequate documentation storing and tracking

• Ensure compliance with Brembo procedures

• Manage supply chain risk. Manage the supply base and manage critical supplier performance

• Lead/support RFQ/RFI and tenders

  Our requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management or other relevant fields

• Experience of purchasing on international level in contract and risk management

• At least 5 years relevant experience

• Analytically minded

• Excellent computer skills

• Critical thinking and negotiation skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Occasional domestic and/or international travel

• Fluent in English, Italian will be considered a plus
