Logistics Analyst
Summary
Analyzes supply chain processes, tracks shipments, and prepares logistics documentation for government operations, focusing on route optimization and equipment/personnel deployment in forward-deployed locations.
MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team in Oahu Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyzes supply chain processes to identify opportunities for work simplification and measurement.
Track route activity, including electronic bills and shipment statuses, to ensure delivery accuracy.
Prepare technical documentation and manuals to support ongoing logistics operations.
Develops plans for the reception and off-loading of personnel and equipment at designated ports.
Assist in conducting market research for local life support and facility services in forward-deployed locations.
Maintain records for the onward movement of sustainment capabilities to tactical assembly areas.
Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
Ability to draft technical logistics documentation and follow established RSOI SOPs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Foundational certification in Logistics (e.g., CLA).
Experience with automated cargo tracking systems.
Proficiency in data analysis for theater distribution optimization.
Clearance Required:
Must hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
