About the Role
The successful candidate will support facility maintenance, stock management, and safe transportation of staff and materials using the organisation's vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
- Inspect facilities regularly and report maintenance needs.
- Monitor repair materials and maintain records of repairs and replacements.
- Receive, inspect, organise, and record stock items.
- Drive organisation vehicles in line with safety procedures and traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, arrange maintenance, and ensure vehicles are clean and roadworthy.
- Ensure vehicle documents and driving licence remain valid.
Requirements
- SSCE or equivalent; relevant technical qualification in logistics, electrical, IT, mechanical, or related fields is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Damboa LGA is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence and good driving skills.
- Strong repair, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
