Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant supports inventory and logistics operations by ensuring efficient receipt, shipping, stock management, and documentation while assisting management and driving continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate and execute shipping processes to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies
- Oversee logistics activities to optimize transportation and storage efficiency
- Assist the Inventory Manager with administrative tasks to support smooth inventory operations
- Implement safety management practices and apply human factors principles to maintain a safe work environment
- Accurately document inventory transactions and input data into relevant systems for traceability
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory and logistics processes
