LOGISTICS ASSISTANT
Summary
Handles inbound/outbound cargo in a warehouse: receiving, sorting, securing, and documenting goods; ensures proper documentation for shipments and reports discrepancies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving of cargo/goods from trucker
- Sorting of cargo/goods by shipment destination
- To ensure all stacked cargo/goods are safe and secure
- Be accountable for the cargo/goods movement within the warehouse.
- To ensure all inbound cargo/goods, together with supporting documents are thoroughly checked upon receiving.
- To ensure all outbound shipments, must only be released upon submission of relevant supporting documents by the receiver.
- To ensure the receiver acknowledges all outbound cargo (through proper documentation) in good condition.
- Any discrepancy(s) for inbound and outbound cargoes must be immediately reported to the superior and documented.
- Any cargo/goods outside the warehouse must be properly canvassed.
- General warehouse maintenance
Job Requirements:
- No experience required, training will be provided
- Possess valid forklift license is an added advantage
