Logistics Business Analyst
Summary
A logistics business analyst who splits time between business analysis for a GTL program (50%)—eliciting requirements, shaping analytics backlogs, and defining test strategies—and day-to-day logistics system support (50%), including triaging issues, root-cause analysis, and maintaining documentation.
Project and application support for GTL and business analysis supporting Logistics business. ideal candidate is as comfortable triaging production issues and operating within ITSM processes as they are eliciting requirements, shaping backlogs, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver high‑value analytics.
A) Business Analysis for GTL Program (50%)
- Lead discovery with BI team and users to elicit, analyze, and prioritize Shipment Execution and analytics requirements
- Translate business needs into well‑formed epics/stories, acceptance criteria, and data mapping specs (sources, transformations, quality rules, lineage).
- Define SIT and UAT strategies, test cases, and data validation plans; coordinate UAT, capture defects, and sign‑off criteria.
- Drive adoption: improving on how‑to guides, and driving enablement sessions; collect feedback and funnel into the backlog for continuous improvement.
B) GTL Application Support (50%)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day logistics system support
- Investigate and resolve functional issues raised by end‑users coordinating with technical teams or vendors when escalation is required.
- Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring logistics issues and drive permanent fixes, including updates to configuration, master data, or SOPs.
- Oversee and validate system jobs, EDI/API interfaces, and data flows between the logistics system and external partners
- Maintain updated support documentation: user guides, SOPs, troubleshooting steps, and system behaviour notes tailored for logistics operations teams.
- Support enhancements or configuration updates and validate changes in Pre-UAT and support UAT before deployment.
Requirements:
- 1- 3 years working in related field, IT and logistics field.
- Experience supporting project and operation activity.
- Excellent in computer skills (Microsoft Office) are required.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbally and written form.
- Can work independently, as well as integrate well in to a team, ability to take initiative and change for improvements.
