Logistics Customer Service
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate sea and air shipments, transport, warehouse activities, and deliveries.
- Liaise with customers, warehouse staff, transporters, carriers, co-loaders, and internal departments.
- Prepare customs permits, clearance documents, refund applications, delivery orders, and arrival notices.
- Check, sort, match, and file shipping and warehouse documents accurately and on time.
- Prepare payment vouchers for carrier and co-loader charges and submit them to the Accounts Department.
- Handle customer and shipper enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Update customers on order status, inventory availability, shipment progress, and delivery schedules.
- Support daily operations to meet customer service standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager, Sales Manager, or immediate superior.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Level, Diploma preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Candidates with freight forwarding customer service experience will have an added advantage.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and a positive working attitude
- Independent, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Training and guidance will be provided where required.
