LOGISTICS DOCK CLERK & WAREHOUSE ADMINSTRATOR

Shipment Processing & Documentation
- Receive and process all incoming/outgoing shipments, verifying that all inbound orders match receiving documents.
- Immediately update status changes on the company’s live tracking board to maintain real-time visibility.
- Prepare, verify, and organize outgoing order paperwork, including creating shipping labels, Bills of Lading (BOL), and container documentation.
- Maintain accurate, structured filing systems (both digital and physical) for all historical shipment records.
TruckMate (TMW) System & Inventory Control
- Utilize TruckMate (TMW) for all order management, data entry, processing functions, and shipment tracking.
- Conduct thorough, accurate physical inventory counts using RF-scanner-based tools at the conclusion of every business day.
- Record, document, and cross-reference all stock details within TruckMate to prevent duplicated orders or data errors.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries related to order discrepancies, inventory levels, or tracking statuses.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Act as the primary communication bridge between the dock floor, dispatch team, and Warehouse Supervisor to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Communicate directly with external freight carriers to track shipments in transit and resolve logistical issues.
- Handle email correspondence with warehouse customers, providing exceptional service regarding their inventory and freight.
Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, including Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the shipping office and dock areas, reporting any hazards to management.
- Contribute ideas willingly toward continuous process improvement and warehouse efficiency.
Position Requirements
- Experience: Previous administrative experience in a warehouse, logistics, or dock environment is highly preferred.
- Software Expertise: Prior experience or strong familiarity with TruckMate (TMW) is highly desirable; comfort learning specialized logistics systems is required. WMS experience required.
- Technical Proficiency: High comfort level with software, including Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Gmail) and Microsoft Office. Experience with RF scanners is a strong asset.
- Detail-Oriented: An eagle eye for absolute accuracy in data entry, inventory counts, and documentation.
- Time Management: Proven ability to multitask under pressure, manage your own workload with minimal supervision, and meet strict end-of-day deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Salary:
- $48,000 - $55,000
- Overtime pay
- Bonus program
Shift:
Qualified candidates must be available for shifts scheduled during these hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Some overtime may be required on Friday
