Logistics Executive (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

Job Summary Support daily warehouse operations, assisting with stock control, delivery coordination, and inventory accuracy, while learning the end-to-end logistics process for steel and construction materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely order processing
  • Accurately enter and update inventory data to support stock tracking, reporting, and operational decision-making
  • Monitor stock levels and help coordinate orders for warehouse consumables and materials
  • Support logistics planning and delivery scheduling to ensure on-time dispatch of steel products and construction materials
  • Participate in periodic and annual stock counts, reconciling physical inventory against system records
  • Receive, inspect, transfer, and store incoming raw materials and finished goods, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Record and help investigate internal and customer feedback, supporting corrective and preventive action follow-ups
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute ideas to improve productivity and reduce waste
  • Help verify inventory accuracy, ensure proper stock placement and labelling, and maintain warehouse documentation
  • Assist with basic checks and upkeep of warehouse equipment to ensure functionality and safety
  • Follow workplace safety regulations, company SOPs, and relevant industry standards at all times

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior internship or part-time experience in warehousing/logistics is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to learn, with a proactive and hands-on attitude
  • Good organisational and communication skills; able to work well both independently and in a team
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Office; familiarity with inventory systems is an advantage
