Logistics Intern - Board Design
What are your contributions to the team?
- Design and develop boards to ensure the efficient delivery of materials and components to the production line.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to define specifications, materials, and requirements needed for the fabrication of parts and tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives, facilitating information sharing and providing support to key stakeholders.
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on operational activities to ensure compliance with established timelines and priorities.
- Manage the timely supply of materials to production lines, ensuring operational continuity and minimizing disruptions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on optimizing processes, material flow, and information management.
- Support production requirements by monitoring material availability and assisting in the resolution of unplanned demand.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Industrial Design.
- Interested in developing a career in planning, logistics, and materials management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- SAP knowledge is desirable, but not required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or CATIA.
- Advanced English.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
