Logistics Management Specialist
This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command.
As a Logistics Management Specialist at the GS-0346-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Coordinates Joint Petroleum Enterprise Governance (JPEG) oversight and direct inputs to Global Posture Executive Council (GPEC). Develops products for GPEC, Program Budget Reviews, Integrated Priority Lists, Issue Nominations, JPEC decisions/proposals with other forums for increased senior leader oversight/decision making (i.e., Combatant Command/Service 4 and other engagements) for infrastructure Leads and coordinate working groups (WGs) comprised of USTRANSCOM and stakeholder subject matter experts (SME) to develop, coordinate, review, and updates, and development of policies that effect the JDDE and JPE for infrastructure and presents those ideas to leadership. Makes recommendations to Commander USTRANSCOM and JPE leadership for fuels infrastructure project management regarding issues/policies that strategically impact the global, end-to-end, bulk fuel supply chain. Prepares and presents senior-level briefings containing conclusions, many being highly subjective and not readily verifiable until actual operational situations are encountered.
