LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: To coordinate and performs logistics efforts during Air Force Major Flying (FLAG) Exercises and serves as primary liaison with deployed mission support personnel.

Primary RED FLAG-Alaska scheduler and mission validator for unilateral aircrew training support to include aerial delivery sling load training, and other air transportation related support. Serves as Senior Air Transportation/Logistician providing advice and assistance to the squadron leadership on best business processes and operations performance/efficiency. Operates/Dispatches and coordinates Vehicle Maintenance repairs on a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Tow Tractors/ Long Term GSA vehicles and other airfield assorted equipment and vehicles. Operates a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other vehicles.
