Logistics Manager

Oversees the entire supply chain process, mainly transportation and distribution. To ensure goods are delivered safely, on time and cost-effectively.

Key Job Scope and Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Plan and manage inbound/outbound logistics, including transportation, warehouse storage, and inventory levels.
• Cost & Vendor Control: Negotiate contracts, shipping rates, and service agreements with suppliers and freight carriers to minimize costs.
• Strategy & Optimization: Develop strategies to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage logistics staff to meet performance goals.
• Performance Tracking: Analyze logistics metrics (KPIs) such as delivery times and inventory accuracy to identify improvements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements regarding transportation and safety.
• Collaboration: Work with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure accurate, timely, and damage-free, deliveries.
