Logistics Manager (FMCG/1 Year Contract/Up to $12000)

Responsibilities:

• Work with organization's Supply Chain teams for operationalizing the Logistics leg in line with the organization's global growth plans which includes scale up of existing markets and expand into new markets
• Design playbook for logistics for easy & fast replication/scaling
• Work with Singapore EDB overseeing coordination, reviews, engagement of projects
• Create business feasibility studies from logistics lens and provide clear insights on potential opportunities, risks involved, and support needed from all relevant stakeholders
• Work with central & local OPCO teams to cover the ground level challenges such as taxation, documentation, contracts, etc.
• Work with support teams to establish a working model which includes system masters, code setups, lane setups, etc.
• Work with organization's Global partners to incorporate the new lanes, vendors, etc. in line with the network
• Work with stakeholders/support functions like digital, quality, safety, etc. to further improve the process efficiency
• Lead the projects and keep all stakeholders informed on project status
• Preparation of data analytics and analysis for projects (Cost, Service, etc.).

Experience required:

• 7 - 10 years of experience/industry-level knowledge around ocean freight and road transport
• Performance management experience in driving/tracking logistics metrics not limiting to cost
• Strong in data analysis and insights gathering through info analytics
• Able to work with virtual stakeholders across different geographies
• Strong self-starter who is able to work independently, team-oriented
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel, SAP or analytical tools will be preferred
