Track key logistics KPIs such as delivery time, freight cost, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports.
Analyze shipment data, transportation costs, inventory movements, and operational trends.
Identify delays, bottlenecks, capacity issues, and other operational problems.
Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, procurement, suppliers, and customer service teams.
Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Review carrier and logistics service provider performance.
Support route planning and transportation optimization.
Identify opportunities to reduce freight, storage, and handling costs.
Maintain accurate logistics databases, records, and operational documentation.
Investigate shipment discrepancies, damages, shortages, and delivery issues.
Use Excel, ERP systems, WMS, TMS, and reporting tools to analyze logistics data.
Develop dashboards and analytical reports for management decision-making.
Forecast logistics requirements based on historical data and business demand.
Support inventory planning and stock movement analysis.
Ensure logistics activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Assist in logistics process improvement and automation projects.
Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and customers.
Provide management with insights and recommendations for improving logistics performance.
Support audits and ensure logistics records are complete and accurate.
