Logistics Optimization Specialist

Summary

Optimize Red Bull's global logistics network by leading projects, analyzing distribution strategies, and improving performance through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

LOGISTICS OPTIMIZATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

In this role, you'll lead and support strategic logistics optimization projects from concept through implementation and post-project evaluation. You'll define project objectives, develop business cases, manage timelines and resources, and ensure alignment with global logistics and business strategies. Additionally, you'll coordinate cross-functional initiatives across the Global Logistics department.

NETWORK OPTIMIZATION & DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY

You'll analyze and continuously improve Red Bull's global logistics network by identifying optimization opportunities, mitigating risks, and implementing efficient distribution concepts. You'll evaluate alternative logistics scenarios, balancing cost, service, resilience, and sustainability while supporting the evolution of our global supply chain.

DATA ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

You'll define and maintain logistics KPIs, develop reporting frameworks, and collaborate with IT and Global Data teams to enhance dashboards and analytics tools. By translating complex datasets into actionable insights, you'll enable informed decision-making and continuous performance improvement across the Logistics organization.

GLOBAL STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION

Working closely with Red Bull subsidiaries, internal and external stakeholders, you'll support the review and optimization of local logistics setups, processes, and performance. You'll build strong partnerships across Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Customs, Quality, IT, and external logistics partners to drive standardized, scalable logistics solutions worldwide.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data/Business Analytics, or a related field.

Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics processes with experience in optimization and change management.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build business cases and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with BI/reporting tools; knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.

Experience with SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across international teams.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.362,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
