Logistics Process Engineer (f/m/x)
As our Logistics Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and design of layouts and system concepts for AUTODOC’s Distribution Centers, covering storage, picking, packing, and dispatch areas.
- Assessing the technical and operational feasibility of new layouts and system changes, ensuring scalability, safety, and performance.
- Translating operational requirements into detailed technical specifications and engineering documentation (layouts, equipment lists, material-flow concepts).
- Conducting capacity, throughput, and space-utilization analyses to validate design assumptions and optimize future expansions.
- Presenting analyses, project results, and operational insights to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Supporting the implementation of new or upgraded systems (racking, conveyors, automation, and packing lines vs. storage solutions and material handling equipment) together with suppliers, contractors, and internal project managers.
- Ensuring all designs comply with fire protection, occupational health and safety (OHS), and building regulations.
- Supporting tendering processes by preparing technical documentation, reviewing supplier proposals, and validating engineering deliverables.
- Close collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, OHS, Facility and Fulfillment Excellence teams to align engineering solutions with operational needs.
- Participation in group-wide logistics engineering and infrastructure projects, with occasional travel between AUTODOC sites across Europe.
- Participation in industry trade fairs and conferences to expand skills and knowledge of modern intralogistics solutions.
