Logistics Project Manager
Stadler Rail Logistics Project Manager
- Lead logistics and supply chain projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including transportation, warehousing, procurement, operations, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Manage implementation of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other logistics technologies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Facilitate meetings, provide project status updates, and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure project outcomes against objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Support change management activities, including training and processing documentation.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of project management experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse processes, inventory management, and transportation networks.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
