Logistics Specialist
Summary
Coordinates driver assignments, schedules, and customer service for logistics operations, prioritizing efficiency and bilingual communication in English and Korean.
Responsibilities
- Assign jobs or loads to drivers, technicians, or field staff based on location, availability, and skills
- Coordinate schedules and route plans for efficiency and timely delivery/service
- Receive and prioritize calls or requests for service, shipments, or assistance
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries via various communication channels.
- Process orders, forms, applications, and requests efficiently
- Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer service.
- Strive consistently to ensure customer satisfaction and provide high-quality customer support.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional hours during peak periods.
- Be willing to work overtime, including weekends, as needed to meet operational demands.
(Overtime is paid at 1.5x the regular base rate.)
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Multitasking & time management under pressure
- Problem-solving skills for route changes, emergencies, and conflicts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of industry-specific regulations.
- Familiarity with dispatching software, TMSd manage time effectively.
- Ability to communicate in Korean or Spanish is a plus
