Logistics Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Distribution Management: Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and cross-dock/distribution operations. Manage daily routes, schedules, and shipment tracking.
• Carrier & Customer Collaboration: Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal/external customers to guarantee timely movement of shipments. Respond to client inquiries promptly and resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with applicable logistics regulations, safety, shipment security, and C-TPAT standards.
• Documentation & Financial Control: Review purchase orders, shipping documents, bills, and invoices for accuracy. Manage shipment budgets and validate all transport-related expenses.
• Team Leadership & Scheduling: Supervise logistics staff, coordinate daily workloads, and manage team schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, boost service quality, and lower operational costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience with 3 of those years of supervisory experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Bilingual fluency (English / Spanish) required due to heavy communication with partners in Mexico.
• Strong working knowledge of shipping, receiving, routing, and distribution procedures.
• Proven problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
