Salary : 70 to 80% Hike in Indian Salary

A Logistics & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process

of moving goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery

while minimizing costs. This involves managing inventory, transportation,

warehousing, and distribution, as well as collaborating with other departments like

Stores Operations and E-Commerce Operations. The Logistics & Supply Chain

Manager also develops and implements strategies to optimize the supply chain, improve

efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing supply chain strategies:

This includes forecasting demand, managing inventory, and planning

transportation and distribution.

Overseeing transportation, logistics, and warehousing operations:

This involves managing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient storage, and

optimizing distribution channels.

Managing relationships with suppliers and logistics providers:

This includes negotiating contracts with transporters, managing in-house fleet

efficiently, ensuring service levels are met, and developing strong partnerships.

Analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement:

This involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends, and

implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborating with other departments:

This includes working with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards:

This involves staying up-to-date on regulatory changes and implementing best

practices.

Managing a team of logistics and supply chain professionals:

This includes hiring, training, and motivating team members to achieve goals.

Staying informed about industry trends and technologies:

This involves keeping up with the latest advancements in the supply chain.
