Long-Term Substitute Preschool Teacher - Summit ESC

Term: Anticipated November 2026, Multiple Assignments May Be Available

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education required
• Ohio SBOE Licensure that includes preschool age is required - dually licensed with preschool is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in working with students with special needs
• Successful completion of all pre-employment screenings
• Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program
• Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals
• Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth
• Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program

• All other duties as assigned

Salary: $125/day
