Description
A vacancy exists for a Long-term Substitute Speech & Language Pathologist to work within the Office of Student Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit! This position will be available in January 2027.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Valid PA certification in Speech & Language Pathology.
- Spanish speaking strongly preferred
- Eligible for PA state licensure.
- Experience with delivering speech services to a variety of school age children is preferred.
- Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct service to students who present a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Evaluate students in the areas of speech and language as needed.
- Consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language.
- Write IEP's and re-evaluation reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings.
Location:
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit services Montgomery County, PA.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day
Salary:
Bachelor's, Step 1: $53,997/year
Master's, Step 1: $65,007/year
*Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
