Job Responsibilities
- Drive company lorry to transport goods, materials and equipment to designated locations safely and on time.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after each trip to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Ensure goods are properly loaded, secured and transported safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Verify delivery orders, collection documents and other relevant paperwork.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery or collection of goods.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Report any vehicle defects, breakdowns, accidents or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
- Comply with road traffic regulations, company procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage, loss or shortage.
- Support warehouse, logistics or operational duties when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 / Class 4 driving licence, depending on the vehicle type.
- Relevant experience as a lorry, delivery or commercial vehicle driver is preferred.
- Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery locations.
- Good driving record and safety awareness.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading work when required.
- Able to handle delivery documents and basic paperwork.
- Responsible, punctual and reliable.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff and operations personnel.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when operationally required.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, construction or warehouse operations will be an advantage.
