LORRY DRIVER HOOK-LIFT

As a Hook-Lift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of open-top containers. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that our clients' waste management needs are met promptly and professionally. You will operate a hook-lift truck to transport containers to and from various locations, including construction sites, commercial businesses, and residential areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a hook-lift truck to collect and deliver open-top containers to and from designated locations.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of containers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any major issues to the maintenance department.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
