LORRY DRIVER (Night Shift)

Have to be physically strong as the role requires handling and carrying heavy items of approximately 30kg.

To be successful as a Company Driver, you should ensure that all transportation and delivery duties are carried out safely and in a timely manner. Ultimately, a top-performing Company Driver should be responsible, reliable, and familiar with Singapore roads and delivery routes.

Working experience in the delivery of fruits and vegetables will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transporting workers, fruits, vegetables, products, and various materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and goods, including items weighing approximately 30kg.

  • Ensuring all goods are handled and delivered safely without damage.

  • Promptly informing the company of any traffic tickets or notices issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and basic vehicle maintenance.

  • Conducting basic checks on the vehicle, including tyres, lights, engine oil, and other essential components.

  • Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s movements and daily trips.

  • Planning delivery routes and ensuring timely completion of assigned deliveries.

  • Reporting any accidents, injuries, vehicle damage, or other issues to management immediately.

  • Performing other driving, delivery, loading, and general duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements:

  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.

  • Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.

  • At least 2 years of relevant driving or delivery experience.

  • Prior experience in the delivery of fruits, vegetables, food products, or other goods will be advantageous.

  • Physically fit and able to carry and handle heavy items of approximately 30kg.

  • Familiar with Singapore roads, traffic rules, and regulations.

  • Able to use GPS/navigation systems, maps, and basic vehicle manuals.

  • Punctual, responsible, and reliable.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Willing to work 6 days per week.

  • Able to work overtime and on weekends/public holidays when required.

  • Good working attitude and willingness to perform both driving and manual loading/unloading duties.
