LORRY DRIVER

Job Summary

Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to schedules and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorry to transport workers, goods, materials, and equipment according to assigned schedules
• Load and unload goods safely, verifying quantities against delivery orders to ensure accuracy
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customers’ acknowledgement upon delivery
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the lorry clean and roadworthy for safe operation
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues promptly to supervisors
• Comply with traffic regulations and company safety procedures at all times
• Assist with general warehouse or operational duties as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence
• Physically able to handle loading and unloading duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant lorry-driving experience
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations
• Good driving record and strong safety awareness
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required
