Loss Adjuster

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into insured events including Property, Casualty, and Work Injury claims to determine claim validity and circumstances
• Perform detailed site inspections to collect evidence and assess conditions related to claims
• Evaluate and adjust insured losses by analyzing investigation findings, supporting documents, and policy terms
• Prepare clear, comprehensive investigation reports tailored for client understanding and decision-making
• Provide professional and technical advice to clients on claim matters to support accurate resolution
• Communicate and liaise effectively with insurers, insured parties, witnesses, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate claim processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Higher Nitec, Diploma, GCE A Level, Degree, or equivalent qualifications
• Experience in insurance claims, investigations, loss adjusting, engineering (Civil/M&E), construction, or related industries
• Experience in investigation, enforcement, compliance, or risk assessment roles
• Willingness to travel for site inspections; possession of own transport is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written communication skills demonstrated by preparing clear and detailed reports
• Good verbal communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently
