Preferred Appearance & Detailing is growing, and we're hiring a Lot Porter to help keep things moving. We're the detail center for the Preferred Automotive group, handling used car inventory for Preferred Chevrolet Buick GMC, Preferred Ford, Preferred Auto Advantage, Preferred Chrysler Dodge of Muskegon, Preferred Chrysler Dodge of Grand Haven, and Toyota of Grand Rapids, along with a growing number of retail customers.

As our Lot Porter, you're a key part of the customer experience. You'll handle vehicle deliveries for Preferred Ford, Preferred Chevrolet Buick GMC, and Preferred Chrysler Dodge of Grand Haven, keep vehicles moving, and work hand in hand with the sales teams so every customer gets a clean, ready-to-go vehicle right on time. No experience needed. If you're dependable, friendly, and take pride in a job well done, we'll teach you the rest.

Compensation:

• $16 per hour
• Steady, year-round, full-time work

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver vehicles for Preferred Ford, Preferred Chevrolet Buick GMC, and Preferred Chrysler Dodge of Grand Haven safely and on time
• Work with each store's sales team to make sure sold vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for delivery
• Help create a great first impression. You're the last person to touch the car before the customer drives it away.
• Move vehicles in and out of detail bays and keep the lot organized
• Shuttle vehicles between the shop and our dealership locations
• Wash, vacuum, and wipe down vehicles as needed
• Keep the lot and shop clean: clear trash and debris, sweep, and help with basic upkeep
• Help the detail team wherever needed

• A friendly, professional attitude with customers and coworkers
• Good communication and teamwork with the sales and detail teams
• Pride in keeping things clean and organized
• Able to stay busy and work without constant direction
• Comfortable working outside in all weather. We hustle year-round.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be insurable under company policy
