Position Overview:
J.C. Lewis Ford Pooler is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our dealership vehicles. As a Lot Porter, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by keeping our lot and vehicles in top condition.

What You'll Do:

• Wash, fuel, and detail vehicles to keep them customer-ready

• Organize and maintain the dealership lot for easy vehicle access and a professional appearance

• Assist sales and service teams by preparing vehicles for delivery and retrieving cars for test drives

• Track and update vehicle inventory information accurately

• Monitor lot security, ensuring vehicles are locked and reporting any issues

• Perform light facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning and trash removal

• Collaborate with team members to support smooth dealership operations

Who We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 19 years old with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs, stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Basic customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and vehicle operation

• Use of equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and basic hand tools

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with safety protocols)

• Fast-paced dealership environment with occasional customer interaction
