Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimise low-latency C++ components for exchange connectivity and algorithmic trading platforms serving major European venues.
Develop new features, perform automated testing and support continuous deployment.
Ensure solution quality, security, reliability and compliance.
Implement observability, monitor production systems and provide L3 support, including root-cause analysis.
Use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and support workflow automation through MCP-based integrations.
Required Skills
Modern C++ (C++14/17 minimum; C++20 advantageous), multithreading, memory management, data structures and algorithms.
Linux development: gdb, perf, strace and shell scripting.
C++ unit testing and test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework.
Python for testing, tooling or scripting.
Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Ansible.
L3 production support, incident triage and root-cause analysis.
Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
Nice to Have
Lock-free data structures, kernel bypass (DPDK/Solarflare), cache-aware design and NUMA tuning.
Performance tools: VTune, flame graphs and Google Benchmark.
CPU caches, branch prediction, memory hierarchy and NICs.
Financial protocols: FIX, ITCH, OUCH or native exchange APIs.
Exchange connectivity, smart order routing or execution algorithms.
MCP server integration and AI workflow automation.
Monitoring tools: Corvil, Geneos and PCAP analysis.
