VectorUSA is seeking all level Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our growing team. If you’re skilled in Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber installations and want steady, full-day work on high-impact projects, this role is for you.

We’ve spent 36+ years delivering network solutions nationwide, supporting schools, hospitals, enterprises, and government agencies. Join a team where your work directly powers essential systems.

Schedule

🕒 Monday – Friday | ~6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
(Start and end times may vary slightly based on project and business needs)

Work Location & Travel

📍 Field-based role – projects across Southern California
Work at a variety of sites across LA, Orange County, Inland Empire, and nearby areas. Travel is required based on project assignments.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Install, pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber optic cabling
  • Perform troubleshooting and certification testing
  • Read and follow blueprints and project specs
  • Maintain safe, clean job sites
  • Support project completion alongside field teams
  • Submit daily documentation

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of low voltage cabling experience
  • Hands-on experience with terminations, punch-downs, pulling, and testing
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Strong communication and professionalism on job sites
  • Reliable vehicle (must fit a 6’ ladder) + own tools
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and fingerprinting
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in field conditions

Nice to Have

  • Fiber termination experience (2–3 years preferred)
  • Experience using Fluke testers
