Scheurer Primary Care-Pigeon a part of Scheurer Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and register each patient
- Room placement
- Verify insurance coverage
- Collect co-pays
- Data entry in an electronic medical record
- Prep patients, and provide assistant to the physician during patient care
- Remarkable customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing from the State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Certification required or willingness to obtain within first three months of employment
- The candidate will have a minimum of two years practical experience in a medical office
