Summary
Lead engineering and maintenance teams to optimize concentrator plant assets, reduce downtime, and enforce safety and reliability standards in Liberia.
1.1. Implement and monitor asset management and engineering best practice standards and procedures aimed at managing operational risk, minimizing operating costs and improving asset overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across AML.
1.2. Developing standards, SOPs, procedures and guidelines to the Concentrator maintenance team.
1.3. Develop and manage asset-specific risk management plans aimed at managing asset integrity, asset safety and people’s safety.
1.4. Review and develop maintenance practices aimed at improving asset reliability and performance.
1.5. Facilitate and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for critical equipment breakdowns and develop corrective/preventive/predictive actions to prevent recurrence stablishing or following formal Reliability method.
1.6. Manage, implement and contribute to continuous improvement and asset optimization initiatives and projects for asset management processes.
1.7. Conduct maintainability audits and studies of components and systems to reduce unplanned asset downtime.
1.8. Provide second-party quality assurance to the Maintenance Planning function.
1.9. Manage engineering and maintenance talent assigned to the Concentrator.
1.10. Control and implement formal “change management”.
1.11. Plan and execute activities aimed at compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health, and safety. (Codes of practice (COP) and safe operating procedures (SOP).
1.12. Ensure the safe installation, proper operation, running and maintenance of all machinery and equipment across ArcelorMittal Liberia.
1.13. Developing design details as subject matter expert for SIB projects.
1.14. Coach and mentor junior engineers.
