LR_Operator - Reacher Stacker (403383)
Equipment Operation:
1.1. Operate heavy-duty equipment such as forklifts, reach stacker, telehandler, box trucks and other material
handling machinery.
1.2. Safely load, unload, and transport materials within warehouse and yard areas.
1.3. Ensure proper handling techniques to avoid damage to goods and equipment.
1.4. Follow operational procedures and instructions during equipment use.
2. Material Handling & Warehouse Support:
2.1. Assist with movement and stacking of materials in designated storage locations.
2.2. Support receiving and dispatch activities through efficient equipment use.
2.3. Ensure correct placement and organization of materials.
2.4. Maintain smooth flow of materials to support warehouse operations.
3. Safety & Compliance:
3.1. Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
3.2. Operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner at all times.
3.3. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
3.4. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Equipment Inspection & Maintenance:
4.1. Conduct pre-operational and post-operational checks on equipment.
4.2. Ensure machinery is in good working condition before use.
4.3. Report defects or maintenance needs promptly.
4.4. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
5.1. Maintain logs of equipment usage and operational activities.
5.2. Record material movements when required.
5.3. Report operational challenges or inefficiencies to the Supervisor.
5.4. Ensure accuracy of records related to equipment and material handling.
6. Coordination & Team Support:
6.1. Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors.
6.2. Follow task instructions and operational priorities set by Supervisor.
6.3. Support other warehouse duties when required.
6.4. Communicate effectively regarding operational needs and issues.
7. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
7.1. Safe operation of equipment (zero incidents/accidents)
7.2. Efficiency in material handling and movement
7.3. Minimization of product damage during handling
7.4. Compliance with safety and operational procedures
7.5. Equipment availability and proper usage
Qualifications & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Certification/license to operate heavy-duty equipment (required)
Experience:
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience operating heavy-duty equipment
• Experience in warehouse, mining, or industrial environment is preferred
• Proven track record of safe equipment operation
Technical Knowledge:
• Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment operation and controls
• Understanding of warehouse material handling processes
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment checks
• Awareness of safety standards in industrial environments
