Summary
Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability engineering for heavy-industry equipment in a mining operation, ensuring uptime and safety while optimizing asset performance and costs.
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Develop detailed maintenance plans, job scopes, labor requirements, tools, and parts requirements for all planned maintenance activities.
- Coordinate weekly and monthly maintenance schedules in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
- Ensure maintenance work orders are properly planned and loaded into the CMMS.
- Monitor schedule compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Reliability Management
- Analyze equipment performance data and identify recurring failures.
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Monitor key asset health indicators and equipment reliability trends.
- Asset Performance Optimization
- Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Review equipment history and maintenance records to optimize maintenance intervals.
- Drive asset lifecycle management initiatives.
- Recommend improvements for maintenance practices and equipment performance.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all planning activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout maintenance operations.

- Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance planning and reliability experience in mining, heavy industry, or related operations.
- Experience with mobile mining equipment, fixed plant equipment, and maintenance management systems.
- Proven experience in maintenance scheduling, reliability analysis, and asset management.

- Working Conditions:
- Based at a mining operation site with regular exposure to workshops, plant, and field environments.

- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions while conducting field inspections.
