Summary

Lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability engineering for heavy-industry equipment in a mining operation, ensuring uptime and safety while optimizing asset performance and costs.

  1. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
    1. Develop detailed maintenance plans, job scopes, labor requirements, tools, and parts requirements for all planned maintenance activities.
    2. Coordinate weekly and monthly maintenance schedules in collaboration with operations and maintenance teams.
    3. Ensure maintenance work orders are properly planned and loaded into the CMMS.
    4. Monitor schedule compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  2. Reliability Management
    1. Analyze equipment performance data and identify recurring failures.
    2. Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
    3. Develop and maintain reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
    4. Monitor key asset health indicators and equipment reliability trends.
  3. Asset Performance Optimization
    1. Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
    2. Review equipment history and maintenance records to optimize maintenance intervals.
    3. Drive asset lifecycle management initiatives.
    4. Recommend improvements for maintenance practices and equipment performance.
  4. Safety and Compliance
    1. Ensure all planning activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
    2. Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
    3. Promote a strong safety culture throughout maintenance operations.
    4. Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate and compliant.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    1. Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.

  8. Experience
    1. Minimum 5–8 years of maintenance planning and reliability experience in mining, heavy industry, or related operations.
    2. Experience with mobile mining equipment, fixed plant equipment, and maintenance management systems.
    3. Proven experience in maintenance scheduling, reliability analysis, and asset management.
