Position: LTS Elementary School Teacher (Posting number 2526-3956)
Location: State Road Elementary School
Dates: February 22, 2027 - April 19, 2027
Requirements: Must have NYS Certification in either Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood Education 1-6, or Nursery-6
We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience in elementary education
- Strong ability to collaborate and be an effective member of a grade-level team
- Exemplify the WCSD Essential Skills and Core Beliefs
- Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning
Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum
- Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing
- Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students
- Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference
Salary: As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education.
