Ideal Candidate: An outgoing and dependable individual with strong customer service skills. A team player who maintains professionalism when interacting with guests. Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for extended periods of time.

Tips are paid bi-weekly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties may be taught and demonstrated during the Food Runner / Server Assistant training process, depending on experience:

  • Reports directly to the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager
  • Maintains dependable and punctual attendance
  • Willingness to work holidays and flexible days or hours based on business needs
  • Demonstrates a teamwork attitude and willingness to assist management and coworkers as needed

Ability to perform the following Food Runner / Server Assistant tasks in accordance with Food and Beverage SOPs:

  • Greet guests with a smile in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Assist servers and/or casino staff by organizing tickets and delivering food and beverages
  • Ensure all dressings, garnishes, and condiments accompany orders correctly
  • Refill water and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Clear, clean, and sanitize tables without interrupting the guest experience
  • Complete all stocking and side work as assigned during training
  • Assist hosts with seating guests when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with NH Health Department, OSHA, and departmental SOPs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One (1) year of restaurant experience preferred

Age and Certifications

  • Must be 17 years of age or older

Language Skills

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English
  • Ability to respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently carry food trays up to 50 pounds

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced and often loud environment
  • May be exposed to tobacco smoke when working near the casino floor
  • Must be able to work varying schedules based on business needs
