LUT- Senior Subcontracts Tech

Job Overview:

The Senior Subcontracts Tech completes a variety of Subcontracts assignments as needed and can complete work with a limited degree of supervision. They are an informal resource for colleagues with less Subcontracts experience. The Senior Subcontracts Tech has developed proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks. They provide solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures. They directly impact the quality of the work of the team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Report and assist Project Subcontract Manager or Senior team member to manage the Subcontract activities in the day-to-day subcontracts' activities
• Prepare tendering, and subcontracts administration to perform efficiently, effectively and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, timelines and ad-hoc needs from the Project / Department
• Support development, issuance, and coordination of subcontractor request for quotation and subsequent proposals in support of company proposal efforts
• Log / file correspondence and other documents between subcontractor and subcontract team into the Electronic Document Management System
• Support the Subcontract pre-qualification process
• Support the Subcontract back charge and close out process

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Associate’s Degree/Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or HSD/GED/IGCSE or 2 years of relevant experience
• 1-6 years of relevant experience
• Commercial and contractual management experience are essential
• Experience in quantity surveying or Subcontract Management would be preferred
