What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales consultants to deliver memorable, personalised experiences for our discerning clientele
  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers during life's most meaningful moments, while guiding your team to do the same
  • Drive store performance, leveraging your sales expertise to meet and exceed targets in a rewarding, commission-driven environment
  • Share your passion and knowledge of luxury jewellery, mentoring your team through considered purchases and client engagement
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and staff scheduling
  • Uphold the elegance and prestige of the Jack Friedman brand in everything you and your team do
  • Collaborate with a professional, supportive team, fostering a culture where every contribution is valued


Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience, ideally in a luxury or high-end retail environment, with prior experience in a supervisory or management role
  • A naturally warm, confident, and professional manner, with proven leadership ability
  • Someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment and takes pride in their own results as well as their team's
  • A genuine passion for people and the ability to connect with, and lead, a diverse, discerning clientele and team
  • Emotional intelligence, patience, and the ability to truly listen to customers' and staff needs
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends
  • Based in Johannesburg with reliable access to transportation
  • Valid work permit and clear criminal record

Advantageous
  • Previous jewellery sales and management experience with strong product knowledge
  • Ability to speak European, Mediterranean or Eastern European languages
