LVNS NEEDED IN OCEANSIDE, CA
- One on one private duty nursing shift care
- Administer medications and treatments according to a prescribed regimen
- Monitor client’s condition, including efficacy of treatment and medications
- Notify supervisor of changes in client’s condition
- Teach the client, family and PCG appropriate self-care techniques
- Document accurately and submit timely nursing notes, according to agency standards
- Participate in Continuing Education Programs
- Must possess valid current nursing license under the State Board of Nursing
- Must be of mature and responsible character
- Must possess general knowledge of disease process and medication action
- Must possess knowledge of necessary actions in emergency situations
- Must be able to effectively communicate with the client, family, PCG, and their nursing supervisor.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
- Must complete the agency’s employment process.
