Discussion
Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy developer, investor and operator. Our mission is to make a meaningful contribution to the European renewable energy transition. This year, we completed our transition to Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Italy, our first market for owned operating assets, with the ambition to extend this model to other key European markets in the coming years.

Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 17 GW of solar PV, onshore wind, offshore wind and storage projects across 9 markets in Europe.

We are looking for a M&A and Project Finance Analyst to assist in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities and financing solutions across different renewable energy technologies (solar PV, wind onshore and offshore as well as BESS). Working across the M&A and Project Finance teams, this person will be based in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the Head of Project Finance.

What you’ll do:

  • Contribute to the successful execution of sell-side, buy-side and partnership transactions by working on the whole spectrum from inception to closing.
  • Build and maintain integrated financial models for M&A, project valuation and project finance purposes, including sensitivity analyses and scenario assessments.
  • Analyse and roll-out the strategic entry in new geographical markets and the development of new business models (solar I&C, BESS, floating offshore).
  • Contribute to the analysis of project economics and investment returns, supporting decision-making across development, construction and operational phases.
  • Support the structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions, refinancing processes and other debt raising activities.
