Job Summary
Support project management by coordinating planning, resource deployment, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely, quality delivery of building projects with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and preparing project documentation for submission to meet project milestones
- Propose alternative design and construction methods to Consultants to optimize project outcomes
- Plan and manage resources effectively to ensure smooth project delivery and adherence to timelines
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on site to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met
- Identify, document, and communicate issues related to products and processes to enable timely resolution
- Perform additional duties assigned by Management to support project objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- 1-3 years of experience as an M&E Engineer in building projects
- Ability to plan and coordinate site works, including resolving drawing details and discrepancies
- Proficient in liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP is advantageous
