M&E Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all services and complete within programme
- Work closely with the clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
- Supervise and Coordinate M&E services work and work closely with other department staff to meet the project timelines
- Conduct in detailed, M&E coordination with all specialist contractors
- Coordinate with all BIM modelers, coordinators and Project Engineers/Project Managers of various M&E contractors
- Carry out testing and commission of M&E works
- Manage sub-contractors / in progress production planning & build
- Execute mechanical and electrical works in construction
- Supervise day-to-day site works
- Handle the project supervision and documentation
- Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples and work progress
- Prepare Coordinated Services Drawing (CSD), penetration drawing and coordinate with BIM team
- Ensure timely prepare and submission of CSD
- Attend progress / site / MEP meeting
- Compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
- Ensure of quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Main Contractor invlolving M&E works
- Able to work independently
- Good safety knowledge and attitude
- Ability to liaise with statutory authorities
