Position/title: M&E Manager (Fortune Global 500 main contractor)
Salary Range: $8,000 – $11,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution, oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution of M&E works, ensuring delivery within time, budget, and quality parameters.
- Attend technical and site coordination meetings with clients, Consultants and other stakeholders.
- Oversee construction activities, ensure site safety, and arrange timely delivery of M&E equipment and materials. Ensure all M&E systems meet required standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and manage budgets for M&E aspects of construction projects. Analyse, manage, and track project costs against budget.
- Lead M&E teams, providing guidance for successful project completion. Manage M&E contractors and subcontractors, including monitoring performance and negotiating contracts.
- Identify and address potential risks to prevent delays. Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records, including project plans, drawings, and technical specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E-related matters, addressing client concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or project management within the construction industry, preferably with A1 main contractor companies.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent project management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
