M&E Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems on construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement M&E strategies and plans.
  • Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure M&E works are performed to the required standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of M&E services and materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to M&E systems, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of M&E works, providing regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential M&E-related risks.
  • Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety, ensuring all M&E works are performed in a safe and compliant manner.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualification recognized by PEB.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing M&E works on construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing M&E teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for M&E management.
